LOCATION OF POSITION

DHMH- St. Mary's County Health Department, Leonardtown, MD.

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this job will be to complete grant forms, review grant applications, maintain up-to-date records on grant awards and expenditures, and to meet with program staff to discuss grant requirements. This position will also assist Fiscal Officers with other duties.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Experience: One year of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.

Notes:

1. Applicants may substitute graduate education in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, political science or public administration at a rate of 30 semester hours for each year of the required experience.

2. Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
