This is a permanent position with the state of Maryland benefits.
Work that matters. The Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) is a national leader in financing affordable housing and community development lending. DHCD is looking for a Senior Community Outreach Liaison to promote DHCD’s housing programs and initiatives, including the Department’s foreclosure prevention initiatives for low and moderate-income Maryland residents.
GRADE
LOCATION OF POSITION
Crownsville, Maryland with travel throughout the State of Maryland for events.
In the future, DHCD Headquarters will be relocating from Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, to the New Carrollton transit stop location in Prince George’s County.
POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Please read carefully.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with at least 30 semester credit hours in one or more of the following subjects: English, journalism, public relations, writing or other similar and related courses.
Experience: Three years experience in public information, public relations, journalism or other related experience in publicity or promotional work.
Note: Applicants may substitute additional experience as described above for the required college education on a year-for year basis.
