Main Purpose of Job

This position will function as Property Officer for Springfield Hospital.  This position is responsible for disposal of furniture/equipment; repairs required during life expectancy of furniture/equipment including all medical equipment; and scheduling moves and physical inventory when required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:  Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience:  Five years of experience in receiving, storing and issuing supplies, materials and equipment in a storeroom, warehouse or other supply storage facility.

Notes

1.  Additional experience as described above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.

2.  Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as a non- commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
