POSITION DUTIES
The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for a Contractual Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to assist in the organization of the Mediation Unit in the Consumer Protection Division ("CPD") for a newly created office in Prince George’s County. The position is responsible for the input, maintenance, and referral of complaints; all forms of customer contact; and assisting in the management of CPD’s daily caseload.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a high school degree from an accredited four year high school college or university, plus three years of experience in administrative work. Applicants may substitute college education for the required experience at the rate of one year of education to one year of experience, for up to two years of the required experience. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, writing and organizational skills. Experience working with volunteers and fluency in Spanish are desirable.
