POSITION DUTIES
The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for two Mediation Supervisors to assist in the administration of the Mediation Unit in the Consumer Protection Division ("CPD") for a newly created office in Prince George’s County. The position is responsible for the training and supervision of 4-8 part-time volunteers; hands on negotiation of complex consumer complaints; and assisting in the management of CPD’s daily caseload.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four year college or university and three years of experience in administrative or social work. Applicants may substitute graduate education for the required experience at the rate of one year of education to one year of experience, for up to two years of the required experience. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills. Experience working with volunteers and fluency in Spanish are desirable.
