Main Purpose of Job

The Contributor Relations team provides high quality customer service via telephone, email and mail. Employee will work independently and as part of a team to resolve a diverse set of issues including viewer and member inquiries about premiums, data entry, donor account management and more. The position will also prepare and assist with MPT's on-air pledge drives and participate in a variety of special events and projects designed to cultivate and strengthen relationships with our contributors and viewers.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Customer Service
  • Manage contributor accounts through the use of a database
  • Participation in on-air pledge; overseeing aspects of contributions during live pledge programs
  • Data entry
  • Greet and handle visitors, special guests and staff at the front desk and operate main switchboard
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires High School Diploma or GED

One year of secretarial/clerical or administrative staff support expertise

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

 

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates must be highly organized and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that will require occasional nights and weekend work.
