Main Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering a local Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) site following state and national guidelines. This position will be responsible for coordinating local MRC volunteers and activities with local emergency response plans and teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Master degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, Public Safety, or related field. OR Bachelor's degree with two years experience in Volunteer Management or Public Health Program Coordination with a minimum of one year in emergency preparedness.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidate will have experience as a medical or public health professional in health-related fields such as nursing, emergency medical care, public health, behavioral health, community health, health education, medical surge and emergency planning. Must also have experience in program planning, implementation, evaluation, community organizing, public relations and marketing.
