Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to assist the Associate Director- Audit & Compliance in the supervision, coordination and implementation of all audit and compliance activities of the Commission.  Desirable qualifications- The successful candidate should also have and training and experience in developing and directing programs to audit hospital financial records.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, hospital or health care administration from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, and/or auditing hospital records is required.  Possession of a Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, hospital or health care administration from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should have thorough knowledge of HSCRC rate setting methodologies and should have training and experience in developing and directing programs to audit hospital financial records.
