Main Purpose of Job

This position will be responsible for working closely with the Division Chief for ISAS to perform high priority Medicaid policy analyses and implement high priority projects. This position will learn to address high priority projects, which include the evaluation, analysis, research and development of health care services and policies within Policy and Compliance. Particularly, this position will be the data analysis and reports analyst for the In-home Supports Assurance System (ISAS) team. This involves providing ISAS Program oversight; administrative support; program integrity monitoring; communicating with providers about billing and payment and participant Plans of Service (POS): using databases; and preparing reports for internal program monitoring. This position will also work in conjunction with various contractors hired to help administer ISAS, and the ISAS vendor to implement and analyze the new ISAS program. This position will work with Division Chiefs and lead analysts to coordinate exceptions processing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: One year of experience performing qualitative or quantitative analysis.

Note:

Eighteen (18) credit hours towards a Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Policy or closely related field may be substituted for the required experience.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
