MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in settling multi-line claims such as property, casualty, bodily injury, liability, automotive and/or marine insurance; include experience in commercial insurance and/or public sector environment
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience specifically in insurance-industry management
- Knowledge of State and/or local government tort claims act(s)
- AIC, CPCU, ARM, AU or other insurance industry designation or related course work
SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants who meet the minimum and selective qualifications will be admitted to examination for the classification. Successful candidates will be ranked as Best Qualified, Better Qualified, or Qualified and placed on the employment (eligible) list for at least one year.
