Maryland Public Television offers full- and part-time internships for college students throughout the year. Internships are specifically designed to provide training and experience for students interested in public broadcasting.

This position is for students interested in producing television shows, particularly non-fiction & educational programs. Interns will work directly with producers on a variety of projects in all stages of development. They will be exposed to the nuts-and-bolts of production management including research, planning, field & studio shoots, administration, and more.  This internship can cover all phases of production, ranging from early program development straight through to final distribution and broadcast. Candidates must be detail oriented self-starters, have outgoing personalities, and possess good writing and computer skills. Ideal candidates will have experience with non-linear editing systems, particularly AVID.

Qualified candidates will meet the following criteria:

Students must be a Junior, Senior or Graduate of a college, university, or trade school who must be able to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week and have reliable transportation.
