POSITION DUTIES

To work at SPS HelpDesk to assist employees with incoming calls and issues related to accessing or logging on to the SPS Workday system.

Candidates will function in a support role in the Division, and shall be able to work independently. 

Specifically, the employee will create HelpDesk tickets, walk employees through problem-solving processes, follow up with employees to ensure issues have been resolved and document feedback from employees about the SPS Workday system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:  Previous helpdesk support experience, current software application experience with Google, Excel, and Word.  Extensive experience researching materials using the internet, explaining processes to others, and interest in learning new software applications.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Team Player Customer-focused, sense of urgency

Well organized, self-starter who eagerly approaches new challenges

Proven ability to keep confidence, handle confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and maturity

Proficient at intermediate level in MS Office including Word and Excel
