This job announcement is for a vacancy in the Agri-Services Division at the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester.

BASIC PURPOSE
|
Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving the production of various goods or materials or the delivery of various services through the Oklahoma State Industries Program administered by the Department of Corrections. This includes manufacturing operations involving items such as modular furniture, metal products, mattresses and other items and service contracts such as computer programming and data entry.

LEVEL DESCRIPTORS
|
Level V:
At this level employees are assigned responsibilities involving the direction of multiple industrial programs and operations. This includes two or more programs located at one correctional facility or individual programs located at two or more facilities as well as multiple programs within non-institutional units of the Industrial Production Division.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
|
Level V:
Education and experience requirements at this level consist of three years experience in data processing, programming or operations or in a production capacity such as quality control, inventory or production control, or in manufacturing or in food processing or food service management, PLUS three years of operations or production experience, INCLUDING two years of qualifying experience in a supervisory capacity; or a substitution of one year of experience in correctional or security work for one year of the required experience only.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS
|
The Department of Corrections has been authorized to utilize a Selective Qualification when interviewing applicants for this position. "Applicants must have six (6) years of meat production experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory capacity."
