We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of assistant underwriting manager in our Oklahoma City office. This is a high visibility position that will assist the director of insurance operations by managing and evaluating the performance of supervisory, professional, technical and/or clerical employees.
Primary functions include assigning and reviewing workloads, maintain controls to ensure adequate planning, scheduling and completion of duties are properly carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures.
If you have knowledge of worker’s compensation, underwriting methodology and practices, insurance industry experience and strong management skills, we would like to hear from you.
1. Bachelor’s degree and four years professional experience in insurance operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation may substitute for four years of required experience;
2. Two years of supervisory experience in an insurance industry setting
