This position is located in the OSBI Office of Criminal Justice Statistics located at the OSBI Headquarters in Oklahoma City.
1. Designs analytic and assessment tools for research projects; compiles and reviews collected data; maintains data integrity and adheres to accepted research ethics; applies statistical and research theory and methods; prepares reports, statistical charts and tables.
2. Works with Oklahoma’s Statistical Analysis Center to develop research projects by identifying issues relevant to the criminal justice community in Oklahoma.
3. Assists in the preparation of quarterly unit newsletters; prepares research publications including bulletins, special reports, crime data briefs, and selected findings.
4. Assists the Information Services Division with reviews and analyses of proposed legislation; may assist other units within the division and throughout the agency as needed.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree which includes nine semester hours in statistics, social research methods, demographical or social research statistics.
