This position is located in Oklahoma City.
Monitors existing programs and assists in developing new programs, conducts on site surveys and develops needed substance abuse prevention services. Assures compliance with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) standards, evidence based strategies requirements and other applicable governing/codified standards in managing and delivering prevention services. Some positions may deliver youth suicide prevention trainings and technical assistance to community grantees statewide for the Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative. Requires: Completion of the curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Public Administration, Education or related degree and four (4) years professional experience in behavioral health field, of which two (2) years must be in substance abuse prevention or violence prevention services or related prevention experience or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
