Offset Press Operator III

Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving the operation of offset printing presses and other reproduction/peripheral equipment.

The Offset Press Operator job family consists of four levels which are distinguished by the level of complexity of specific job assignments, the extent of responsibility assigned, the level of expertise required for the completion of assigned projects, and the responsibility for the supervision of others.

Level III: 
This is the specialist level where employees are assigned responsibilities involving advanced technical work related to processes and systems such as 4-color process printing or similar involving a high degree of complexity.

Level III:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of four years of experience in the operation of an offset press; or the completion of a vocational or technical education program in offset printing PLUS three additional years of experience in the operation of offset presses.
