The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) is a government agency providing services to other Oklahoma government agencies. We are seeking a full time, unclassified Accounting Technician III for the Agency Business Services Division in Oklahoma City. The Accounting Technician primarily performs duties involving advanced technical accounting work. This may include independent responsibility for maintaining all accounting records or performing independent advanced specialized accounting tasks which is large in scope with several phases of accounting activity, such as maintenance of appropriate accounts, ledgers, journals, registers, and other financial records, reconciliation of various financial statements and documents, processing of various transactions for payment of invoices or expense vouchers, maintenance and processing of payroll data, and the preparation of routine or standard reports concerning financial operations and data.
Education and Experience
This position requires (3) three years of experience in performing technical accounting work; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preference may be given to candidates with PeopleSoft experience.
