This position is responsible for performing facility patient accounts receivable and information systems tasks, including posting of charges, payments and adjustments. Maintains accounting records including ledgers, journals, registers, and individual accounts; classifies and codes revenues for entry into appropriate accounting records. Requirements: Six months of clerical, bookkeeping, technical accounting or data entry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting completion of six semester hours in accounting, bookkeeping or business related courses at an accredited college or university for each six months of the required experience or the completion of a vocational training course in accounting for the one year of experience.
