This position is located at the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health, Tulsa, OK.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Requirements consist of a bachelorís degree in Therapeutic Recreation and national certification for Therapeutic Recreation and five years of professional level experience working with mentally ill, including one year in an administrative or supervisory capacity OR and equivalent combination of education and experience. NOTE: There will be no substitute for the required year of experience working in an administrative or supervisory capacity.†
Major Work Duties: Under direction of the Executive Director supervises the recreational therapy staff at the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.† With a thorough knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders, such as substance abuse, the individual completes assessments and provides individual and/or group rehabilitation and expressive therapies.† Responsible for monitoring the quality of care, supervision of clinical staff and assist in program development as indicated
