Spring Grove Hospital Center, Catonsville, MD

Main Purpose of Job

This position will coordinate and supervise the activities of a large food storage operation by executing the daily supervisory routines/responsibilities ensuring that all departmental and regulatory policies and procedures are being followed. This position receives general supervision from a Food Service Manager or higher level Administrator. The position will supervise and is an emergency essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from a standard high school.

Experience: Four years of experience in large scale food preparation and/or storage in an institution, hotel, restaurant or similar organization. One year of this experience must have involved supervision of other employees.

Note: Additional experience in food service may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
