Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of the Contractual WIC Services Associate Trainee is to perform paraprofessional services including learning to make eligibility determinations and to screen for nutritional and general health information. The incumbent will also learn how to assign food packages and issue WIC checks in accordance with policy and procedure. The selected candidate must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: None.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
