Main Purpose of Job
The Fiscal Service Administrator I is responsible for all Accounting, Payroll, Leave Reporting and Corporate Purchasing Card program functions of the Agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 30 credit hours in accounting and related courses.
Experience:
Four (4) years of professional experience examining, analyzing and interpreting financial/budget systems, records and reports. At least two (2) years of experience must include performing State of Maryland Fiscal Year End closing or multiple funds using RSTARS, ADPICS and FMIS.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with payroll processing through CICS
Experience with LAS Leave Accounting System
Experience with corporate purchasing card programs
