Main Purpose of Job
This is a highly responsible managerial position, the purpose of which is to provide high level professional, administrative and management skills to supervise and oversee the personnel and operations of the local child support agency.
POSITION DUTIES
This position is responsible for the oversight and management of the four tiers of Child Support Specialist staff who provide location and enforcement services to child support customers in accordance with Federal, State and local child support policies, procedures and guidelines in the agency. This incumbent must have knowledge of all Federal and State regulations governing Child Support Enforcement and proficiency in the operation of the automated statewide CSES computer system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

YOU MUST MEET BOTH THE MININUM QUALIFICATIONS AND LIMITATION QUALIFICATION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.
Notes:
1. Additional professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Education at the graduate level at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at may be substituted the rate of 30 semester hours per year for up to two years of the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant will have a minimum two years Child Support experience.
