Main Purpose of Job

This position functions as the SNS/CRI Coordinator, updates and maintains the SNS/Mass Dispensing plan, and assists the Public Health Emergency Planner and staff in activities related to all-hazards public health preparedness planning and general program operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling or a related field.

Note: 1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in another field plus one year of professional experience in health services may be substituted for the specific degree.

2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The successful applicant should have training and experience in emergency preparedness.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS

The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
