MDH, Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, Jessup, MD

The main purpose of the position is to manage, coordinate, supervise and provide rehabilitation services to the patients at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center in accordance with the mission of the agency.  This position will evaluate rehabilitation assessment needs of patient and facilities development, acquisition and training in those instruments.  This position will also provide treatment by creating systems for tracking treatment provisions, evaluating treatment competence of staff and assessing treatment programming needs of patients.

Applicants must possess a current Maryland license as an occupational or physical therapist from the applicable Maryland Board, a Master's Degree or higher in Physical or Occupational field and 1 year of supervisory experience.

A licensed Occupational Therapist is preferred.

An employee in this classification must possess a current license as a Physical Therapist from the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners in accordance with Physical Therapy Article, Section 13-301 or as an Occupational Therapist from the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice in accordance with Occupational Therapy Article, Section 10-301.
