LOCATION OF POSITION
DHMH, Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission, Baltimore, MD
Main Purpose of Job
This position performs independent professional administrative work relating to the operation of the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission, its business office and staff. Duties involve developing processes and procedures as required by State and DHMH control agencies to effectively manage the Commission's $1.8 million budget, oversee anticipated fee collections of $2.4 million and related accounting functions, conduct solicitation of bids and carry out the procurement process, manage human resources and produce identification cards for participants.
Candidate should have at least one year of experience involving the analysis of budget, compliance and human resources.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should be well organized and able to manage workflow of Executive Director of the Commission.
