Main Purpose of Job
POSITION DUTIES
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze system inventory reports to compile a list of installed commercial software across the DLLR Enterprise.
- Gather through purchase history reports, interviews and department repositories and inventory of all software licenses purchased and held by DLLR.
- Analyze and report on any deficiencies between actual installed software in the DLLR Enterprise and the actual software licenses held.
- Compile audit reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Eighteen months of experience converting data from project specifications by writing program code using third generation or other generally accepted computer programming languages or designing, developing and maintaining communication networks for multipurpose, multi tasking computers.
Note:
1. Experience operating multi-purpose, multi-tasking computer systems; or scheduling, controlling input and output or maintaining a tape library to process data on multipurpose, multi-tasking computer systems; or evaluating, implementing and maintaining microcomputer hardware and software; or converting data from project specifications by developing program code using third generation or other generally accepted computer programming languages may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Fifteen credit hours from an accredited college or university in systems analysis and applications programming using third generation or other generally accepted computer programming languages may be substituted for the required experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in the Computer Systems Operations classifications or Computer Systems Operations specialty codes in the Information Technology field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

Strong preference will be given to applicants that possess the following. Include clear and specific information on your application regarding the qualification(s).
30 college credits in Accounting, Auditing, or Business Administration
General Clerical or Administrative duties
Microsoft Office Software knowledge or experience
Auditing experience

Contractual Health Benefits
Contractual employees who work for an agency covered under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program (the Program), have a current employment contract and work 30 or more hours a week (or on average 130 hours per month) may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage for themselves and their dependents. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits.
Contractual temporary Leave Benefits
Leave may be granted to a temporary/contractual employee who has worked 120 days in a 12 month period. This leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
