This position is responsible for translation from English to Spanish and
vice versa of Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) documents such as: application, eligibility determination, plan for employment, letters/correspondence to facilitate service delivery to Hispanic clients statewide as well as brochures for DRS divisions and schools for the deaf and blind. Position also monitors the DRS Hispanic Hotline to respond to inquiries about Hispanic services and to provide referrals as appropriate. Position also handles claims, requisitions, purchase orders, and other fiscal duties for the unit. Position also provides back-up administrative and technician support to the unit as needed. Position requires fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish languages. Candidate must be willing to perform all job related travel. Probationary period (or trial period if applicable) is required.
