This is an Aging Division position located at 2401 NW 23rd Street, OKC.
BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is responsible for directing the Aging & Disability Resource Consortium Initiative and overseeing the 2-1-1 program for OKDHS.
Direct the Aging & Disability Resource Consortium Initiative, providing leadership that ensures an integrated and statewide program. Oversee the 2-1-1 program and ensure growth & sufficient contract monitoring. Direct division's Information & Assistance effort, working closely with all 16 partners to increase coordination & strengthen statewide service consistency. Provide leadership to expand the Consumer Engagement & Information Unit.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA's)
Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to the administration of human services or human resources; comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods and practices of the various programs being administered; comprehensive knowledge of the organization, development and administration of the human service or human resources programs managed; and
Skill in planning, coordinating and evaluating the activities of multiple work units and divisions engaged in a broad range of functions; in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with state officials, employees, applicants and the public; in oral and written communications of all types; and in interpreting, analyzing and resolving highly complex administrative and personnel problems.
Preference may be given to applicants with a Master's degree and 3 years of professional supervisory, managerial, consulting, or administrative experience.

This is a full-time unclassified state position with full state retirement and insurance benefits, including paid health, dental, life, and disability insurance. Annual leave of 10 hours per month and sick leave of 10 hours per month begin accruing immediately.
