The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) is a government agency providing services to other Oklahoma government agencies. The Department of Central Services Division is seeking a full time Risk Coordinator for our Oklahoma City location. This is an Unclassified, position within Oklahoma State Government.  In addition to a generous Benefits Packet the annual salary for this position is up to $44,000.00 based on education and experience. 
This position is assigned responsibilities for providing risk management and safety coordination to the consolidated agency and performs other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Analysis and Training Unit of the Risk Management Division.

Daily Activities: 

Gathers information from each division necessary to complete property and liability insurance and self insurance surveys; completes surveys and submits in accordance with risk managements established deadlines.

Responsible for maintaining agency property and liability survey files and providing all necessary documentation to risk management.

Coordinates the flow of information from the consolidated agency to risk management.

Conducts quarterly safety training for the consolidated agency.

Provides supervisor training regarding accident/incident investigation, human element programs, risk identification, and all safety programs required to meet or exceed standards adopted by the State of Oklahoma.

Reviews accident/incident reports from supervisors and makes recommendations for follow up as necessary.

Performs regularly scheduled property inspections to identify agency exposure to liability and/or property losses.

Anticipates, responds, and recommends solutions to risk management issues the agency faces.

Performs other duties related to loss prevention and loss control as assigned by risk management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Two years of experience as a risk coordinator, safety coordinator or closely related field


An equivalent combination of education and experience
