BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:  Leads analysis of requirements and documents, communicates and presents business solutions for customers in need of the services of the Office of Service Management and OKDHS.

TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:  This position will manage and guide the elicitation of business need requirements and document how those requirements can be turned into viable solutions that will help maintain and enhance the services provided in support of the OKHDS mission.  This position is critical to agency project in order to maintain and enhance services provided through large, very complex project initiatives and is essential in managing and guiding the elicitation of requirements, research, calculating value to the business and design of the solution.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA's):  Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Requirements at this level consist of the completion of management information systems course work at an accredited college or university or a comparable vocational or technical education course resulting in certification in business analysis and requirements gathering; OR a bachelor’s degree and 3 -5 years and 20 hours of training in business analysis techniques and requirements gathering work; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 1 year of experience in business analyst work.

BENEFITS:  This is a full-time unclassified state position with full state retirement and insurance benefits, including paid health, dental, life, and disability insurance. Annual leave of 10 hours per month and sick leave of 10 hours per month begin accruing immediately.
